This time I was present…
Good thing, though with my tight schedule, I was able to attend the Buhay Coke Bloggers Party (Part 2— Awarding of Winners) at SM Mall of Asia and I even brought my friends with me. It was their first blogger event and was excited about it. We really had a great time! Thanks to Coke, Taste Asia and SM Hypermarket.

The food filled our stomachs so well that we can barely breathe!

Lucky for us, there was a quencher to push down the food we grind.

Minute Maid, an orange juice with real orange pulps. It really taste like real oranges. I thought it was sweet that would only get me more thirsty but it wasn’t… (it’s a good thing!)

Endorsers huh?!=D
Congratulations to the winners:

4th Place - dcoyexo
3rd Place - CokskiBlue
2nd Place - komikero
1st Place - popazrael
My friends said that if we only knew that there was a contest like that, we would have joined. So the next time there will be another contest like that, we’re definitely in! LOL! We got envious of the BIG BIG prizes. =D
*The blogger event and the Beijing 2008 Olympics happened at the same time, there was a live stream projected on a big screen and LCD TV around the venue for the bloggers to enjoy. The opening was AMMMAAAAZZZINNNGG!!!
~sorry for the late post…=p
Last July 26, 2008 (the day before my birthday) I lost (or may I say stole) my money. It’s about 2000 pesos and I can’t do anything but cry. I lost it at home and I don’t know who to blame but myself. What a nice birthday gift right? I mean, 2000 pesos is a lot! It’s not easy to earn (or save) that kind of amount if you’re a student like me.
Anyway, God really moves in mysterious ways because……
I WON A HUNDRED BUCKS!
Am I lucky or what?
I literally won a hundred bucks by random pick at the Emerging Influential Blog awards night to think that I wasn’t able to attend it and there are I think hundreds of bloggers who participated. Good thing my mom and my brother were there to claim my prize. I was shocked by the fact because I wasn’t expecting anything, I just really want to participate and nominate for this endeavor. Imagine the possibilities right.
Thank you to Emerging Influential Blogs and YES I.T Corporation!!!=)
(This is of great help for me. LOL!)
I now believe in the saying “If you lost something now, there will definitely be another blessing and even bigger…”
To the one who stole my money, I doubled what you got! Hah!
Congratulations to all the winners! *CLAPS!*
*this is to blog and not to brag…
Who would have resisted such temptations as…
Free Wi-Fi
Free Charging (Gadgets or Cellphones)
Free Movie
Free Music
Cool Environment
Yummy Food
Well, it’s definitely… not me!
Maybe you would ask where the hell is that place? or its there such place who offers that besides your home?
Burger King is the place to be… LOL!
(disclaimer: this is not a sponsored post. hehe!)
Anyway, Yehey! sponsored a free “Have it your way” meal at any participating branches of Burger King. In our case, we have it at Timog branch. According to the manager, our family was the first bloggers to go there. Thank You Yehey and Burger King Timog!

So, I happened to order their newest Steakhouse burger (you can choose from classic or the loaded), which is packed with Angus beef, melted cheese, crispy onions, lettuce and tomatoes, plus the Burger King’s special steak sauce. It struck me because of the big advertisement in their menu. LOL!

One thing I noticed at Burger King is their fun way of presenting their reminders for their costumers.

Also, what makes Burger King sentimental to me was, it was where I first ever lunch as a college nursing student in their former Morayta, Manila branch (it is closed already).
I kept telling myself that I live in a monotonous way. Every day is exactly the same but what is so special about today? Well… I just turned a year older today and definitely, it is not the same as yesterday. I was given another year to spend my life with my loved ones— with everybody, another year to be better and another chance to make things right.

I want to make this post somewhat unique but I can find ways on how to do it. A year ago, I didn’t have my debut because I have tight schedule in school. I was busy having my duty and taking care of a post-CVA patient at FEU-NMRF hospital. I was feeding him, cleaning him and changing his diapers nevertheless, I felt fulfilled because I have helped and I was able to give care to others. I had my post-birthday celebration with my classmates and cousins and it was also fun…=)

So, I have been blogging for two years now and I have been using WordPress for one year as my blogging tool. I must admit that I have limited knowledge regarding WordPress and that is why I registered to the first ever WordCamp Philippines 2008. The event will be held on September 6, 2008 at the Augusto-Rosario Gonzalez Theater, College of Saint Benilde in Manila.
Thanks to the Mindanao Bloggers for organizing this event as well as the following sponsors:
Please do come too…=) Hope to see you there!
Hungry but don’t have time to eat?
In need of a full stomach but so busy rushing things?
Chowking has a solution for that…
Presenting to you…
Chowking’s new and improved CHAOFAN!

There are four variations of chaofan in which you can choose from. Pork Chaofan (my favorite ever since chaofan came in town) which cost P39 excluding drinks, dimsum, shanghai or dumpling toppings. Beef chaofan which cost P49, Yangchow chaofan which cost P79 and my newest favorite Spicy Chaofan which cost P79 though I am not really a fan of spicy foods.
As a student, I am always rushing for lunch or dinner perhaps because I have short break time and I still have a lot to do during those break times. Chowking Chaofan very appropriate for me, I actually felt it was really made for me. I can buy it for take-out and eat it right away, even while walking because it is packed in a small box (is it a box?LOL!) with a spork (a spoon and fork in one) which I really like.

I remembered one time, when I was a transient student in Bulacan last summer, food is rare in the place where we stayed, we need to go to the municipality to buy food. One thing that first struck my mind for something to eat is Chowking Chaofan, no stir! It is easy to eat— no hassles, fast food, considered one full meal, and it is a RICE enough to get me recharged. It is indeed very convenient! Chaofan literally meant fried rice. I kept the spork and bring it to our apartment for future use that time, and it was of great help because we don’t have utensils there. Quite functional huh?!
Comparing the new chaofan to the previous one, the flavors were enhanced and the price was cheaper. As far as I can remember, Pork chaofan was 42 pesos I think… (Am I right? LOL!) I am glad that the price now is cheaper and it is more suitable for students and for those who are in a tight budget. So go, grab and experience the new, improved and tasteful Chowking Chaofan!
Truly, IBA ANG KAIN PAG CHOWKING CHAOFAN! IBA ANG KAIN PAG KANIN… lol! There is no rice shortage with Chowking… =)

Having the chance to observe a woman delivering her first-born or her second, third and more, I understand why mothers feel that they own their sons and daughters in their entire life. After I have finished watching the movie, Because I Said So I really, much appreciated the kind of relationship I have with my own mother.
